Opera New Brunswick uses the services of CanadaHelps.org for the processing of online donations made by credit card. You instantly receive a tax recipt when making a donation online. You should print it off and keep it for your records. Please note that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has approved the use of secure PDF e-receipts for tax purposes.

When making a donation to a Canadian Registered Charitable Organization you receive a "tax receipt", you can use it to get back up to 75% deduction on your annual income tax. It's a win-win situation. (example: you make a commitment of giving $10/month to Opera NB. At the end of the year you have contributed $120 to help us. You then you use your tax receipt when filling your income tax and get $90 back in tax deduction from Canada Revenue Agency.)
